We offer shipping services to inmates in jails and prisons nationwide. The books must be purchased from our web site or at our store at 4764 Elmore Ave, Davenport, Iowa. Most institutions do not accept hardcover books. Please check with the authorities to insure you understand their limitations.
Teachers: Our store helps promote reading and that books are important. Bring your class by for a visit as part of a reading field trip! Give us a call and we can work on making your class visit a good one. And remember, if you are using your money for classroom books (and what teacher doesn't?) you can use store credit donated by our customers toward 1/2 of your purchase to help out.
You have the option at checkout of having your order mailed to you or you may avoid shipping charges by picking up your order at our store.
If you plan on picking up your order, please continue through to the checkout and select "local pickup" for shipping method and "pay at retail store" for payment method. We will call you when your order is ready for pick-up - usually the following business day by 1:00 pm. We will normally hold your order for up to 1-week, but can hold it longer, if needed. We are open for pickup daily 10:00-6:00 and located at 4764 Elmore Ave, Davenport, Iowa.
